This Sunday 10th January will see Wirral Mini club making their annual journey to Llandudno to enjoy the scenic sea front along the promenade, while parking up and showing off their timeless good looks and iconic style.
The annual run starts from Bromborough and ends here in Llandudno, via a short stop in Rhos-on-Sea. Mini drivers may take the opportunity to take their beautiful motors around the Great Orme, which has a coastal road that runs around the edge of the cliff, and up to the peak should anyone want a magical view of North Wales.
For those interested in taking part, the Mini’s will be embarking on their journey and end up on the promenade at around 11am, where they will be for a few hours – dependant on the weather of course!
Owners of the minis, tourists and locals alike may take the opportunity to enjoy some of Llandudno first class amenities, from the wholesome array of shops, to the delights of the local restaurants and cafes that Llandudno has nurtured into special services over the past few decades. So whether it’s a bite to eat at one of the excellent local cafes or restaurants, observing the phenomenal scenery or a spot of January sale shopping, there is plenty to do to for those that attend this tour.
To join the event, it is free – however it is encouraged that participants purchase a run plaque and print out a windscreen pass from Wirral Mini’s.

Originating in 1959, the development of this car has seen various versions and models that are still in use and developed further today. Recognised for its small appearance and ability to zip from A to B almost effortlessly, the Mini is still today an important influence through many people’s lives and British traditions.
Llandudno welcomes you to observe these fine motors showcase themselves along the promenade in what will be the perfect backdrop between the Great and Little Orme, along the seafront and in front of Llandudno hotels. Don’t miss it this Sunday 10th January 2016.
