April 26, 2015 – Gran Fondo Conwy Cycle Sportive

From the organisers of the Etape Eryri and Tour de Mon Always Aim High Events bring you the brand new Gran Fondo Conwy, Wales’ newest cyle sportive.
The Gran Fondo Conwy will take you on a beautiful, inspiring, iconic and challenging ride around the best roads Conwy and Denbighshire have to offer – in fact, they’re probably some of the best roads to cycle in the whole of Wales and the UK



May 1st – Alice Day, Llandudno Promenade

Llandudno is the home of Alice. Alice in Wonderland Ltd has a real passion for tourism and Llandudno’s connection to Alice in Wonderland.





May 2nd-4th – LLandudno Victorian Extravaganza

LLandudno returns to its roots at this favourite festival, with marching bands, street entertainers, jugglers, fire eaters, vintage fairground vehicles and much more…all with a Victorian flavour, of course. Don’t forget to pack your parasol.




May 2nd-4th – Llandudno Transport Festival, Bodafon Fields – The largest transport festival in Wales.

The Transport Festival is the largest in Wales and one of the U.K.’s best-loved events. It is held in conjuction with the Victorian Extravaganza. Costume, vintage fairground and a host of attractions combine in a unique annual celebration of transport and entertainment heritage within the town.


May 15-17 – Gwyl Gerdded Trefriw Walking Festival

This year we walkinghave three days of wonderful walking experiences for all the family.There will also be a fun Quiz Night on the Saturday, a Grand Raffle, and the indulgence of a Cake Fest on Sunday afternoon to conclude the festival. Cotswold will provide a Boot and Walking Poles Clinic, and there will be a display of Trefriw’s history in the Village Hall.
This year is new in that Trefriw was awarded Walkers are Welcome status in October 2014 – the smallest village in Snowdonia to achieve this.


promMay 16-17 – Prom Xtra, Colwyn Bay

Prom Xtra is returning this year on the 16-17 May 2015 weekend. Prom Xtra will stretch over 2 miles of beach and promenade making it Conwy County Borough Council’s biggest Colwyn Bay Prom event yet.
